Job Description
Dozer Operator - Site Development / Heavy Civil Construction
A well-established site development and heavy civil construction company is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to join its growing team in the coastal Carolinas.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating dozers on site development, grading, earthwork, and land development projects and take pride in safe, accurate, and efficient work.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate dozers safely and efficiently on active construction sites.
  • Perform grading, spreading, cutting, filling, and fine grading operations.
  • Read and follow grade stakes, plans, and site layouts.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and other equipment operators.
  • Maintain safe and productive jobsites while meeting project schedules.
  • Assist with general sitework and earthwork operations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous dozer operating experience in site development, heavy civil, earthwork, or grading.
  • Ability to perform rough and fine grading.
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety and equipment operation.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
