Job description

Allied Development Group, Inc. is a Lancaster, Ohio based Commercial/Public Excavating and Utility Contractor. We currently have immediate openings for an Equipment Operator.

Job Summary

Operate heavy, motorized equipment used in earth moving/utility operations, including, but not limited to; dozers, loaders, excavators, and other equipment typically used on commercial and public site-work and utility projects. Project scopes consist of clearing, stripping topsoil, building pads, fill/export operations, grading of streets, sidewalks, drives, ponds, lawns, and parking lots.

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Must be able to comprehend and follow the daily/weekly work plan
  • Must be able to read drawings and layout stakes
  • Must be able to operate dozer for bulk and finish grading operations without GPS
  • Must be self-motivated and work without constant supervision
  • Must adhere to Allied Employee Safety Policy
  • Complete pre-inspection checklist prior to operating equipment
  • Grease machine on a daily basis
  • Keep cab and windows clean and free of debris
  • Clean tracks as required
  • Show up on time a ready to work at designated start time
  • Work 40+ hours per week, including Saturday if necessary to meet schedule
  • Report to work, properly groomed, mentally alert and physically able to work - not impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition
  • Possess a valid Ohio drivers' license
  • Able to lift 50 pounds, sometimes more
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
