Wage

Starting at $23.19-$28.73/hour (per prevailing wage)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to support our construction operations. Duties include the safe and effective operation of light to heavy construction equipment, such as excavators, backhoes, blades, dozers & loaders. At least 5 years’ experience in the operation and daily maintenance of such equipment is preferred. Must possess a serious attitude toward work, be dependable and work well with others in a production-oriented team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operates a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, dozers, blades, and loaders
  • Perform precise excavation and grading work, including work around existing underground utilities
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations
  • Coordinate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation in active job sites
  • Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Driver’s License preferred; Must be valid state issued
  • Must comply with all site safety requirements
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Minimum Qualifications

  • Heavy equipment operation experience
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge
  • Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
