Job description

Pro-Site Construction, LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a dozer on civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in a civil construction environment and be committed to safely and efficiently performing grading, site preparation, and earthmoving activities.

This position requires an individual who takes pride in maintaining equipment through daily preventative maintenance and keeping machinery clean and job-site ready.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate a dozer to perform grading, site preparation, backfilling, and other earthmoving tasks.

Read and understand grade stakes and work with site supervisors to achieve required elevations and project specifications.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment.

Be responsible for fueling, greasing, and checking/adding fluids as part of the dozer's daily preventative maintenance program.

Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.

Perform physical labor as needed to clean dirt, mud, and debris from the dozer and maintain the equipment's overall appearance after each shift.

Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and job site procedures.

Assist with other duties as assigned to support project completion.

Qualifications

Experience operating a dozer or similar heavy equipment in a civil construction setting.

Experience operating a tractor or other heavy equipment is preferred.

Basic knowledge of preventative equipment maintenance, including fueling, greasing, and fluid level inspections.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing on and off equipment and cleaning machinery at the end of each workday.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
