Job description

Trucent, Inc. is a global leader in fluid recovery and regeneration solutions helping manufacturers and producers achieve operational excellence by incorporating sustainable processes. We are committed to demonstrating leading-edge sustainable solutions and approaches to industrial production and materials management. In 2020, we created a new division of Trucent called, Trucent Renewable Chemicals. We specialize on taking oils from agricultural products like corn, soy, or other vegetable oils and separate out the specialty chemical compounds, amino acids, fatty acids, etc.

We are currently looking for a Night Shift Operator to support Renewable Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. This person is responsible for the operation of all equipment and all process controls associated with processing (mixing and blending) liquid and dry materials according to customer specifications. This position has a starting pay between $22-24 per hour based on relevant experience and skills, $2 shift premium once you are trained and moved to night shift, and up to an additional $2 per hour increase based on skill attainment and demonstrated process knowledge. The position also has full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), and 3 weeks' vacation. We operate on 12-hour shifts, 6:00pm - 6:00am. Training would be on day shift (6:00am - 6:00pm), before moving onto the night shift. We are a 24/7 Operation, so expect to work every other weekend.

We operate on a 2-2-5-5 schedule. (2 days on, 2 days off, 5 days on, 5 days off.) Then the schedule would repeat.

POSITION FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

  • Read, interpret and follow machinery and batch instructions.
  • Gather raw materials; measure and mix according to batching instructions. Package finished goods into containers or totes as specified.
  • Record information regarding material usage and finished products when necessary.
  • Operate machinery necessary for producing product.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area.
  • Ensure EH&S and company policies are followed.
  • Handles waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Support company FSSC initiative by maintaining and improving food safety and food quality through completing job tasks, following GMP's and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner

Physical/Visual Activities or Demands (Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job):

  • Inside conditions mostly in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, vibration, physical hazards (electrical current, oils, chemicals) and adverse atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dust, gases, acids). Physical conditions include close proximity to moving mechanical parts.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • 2+ years' experience in an operator role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
