Job Title: Dozer OperatorJob Description

Join a field construction team in Baltimore, MD as a Dozer Operator, where you will operate heavy equipment and perform fine and finish grading on active job sites. You will spend most of your time operating dozers, front end loaders, and gradall excavators, while also supporting general labor tasks as needed to keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dozers safely and efficiently to perform fine and finish grading on construction sites.
  • Operate front end loaders to move, load, and distribute materials as directed.
  • Operate gradall excavators to support grading, excavation, and site preparation activities.
  • Perform precise fine grading to meet project specifications, elevations, and tolerances.
  • Inspect equipment before and after use to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Assist with general labor duties approximately 40% of the time, including site cleanup, material handling, and supporting other crew members.
  • Follow site plans, directions from supervisors, and project layouts to complete grading and excavation tasks accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other equipment operators and crew members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience operating a dozer on construction or excavation projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating a front end loader.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating a gradall excavator.
