About the Role:

As a Product Manager you will drive the rollout of enhancements and new products and features for Barron's.


You Will:

  • Work cross-functionally to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements.

  • Partner with stakeholders to establish a go-to-market strategy for new products

  • Collaboration and partnership to optimize and grow Barron's subscriber offerings and imagine new premium offerings.

  • Write product requirements for new features and enhancements

  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria for features, tasks and bugs using JIRA

  • Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback that informs new product development

  • Work closely with software engineers and user experience architects and designers throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Define and measure OKRs.

  • Collaborate with other product managers within Dow Jones to roll out shared capabilities.

  • Partner with editors to ensure they have content publishing capabilities and tools they need

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, align roadmaps, set timeline expectations and coordinate launches

  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions and retrospective meetings


You Have:

  • 4-7 years of product management experience

  • Experience developing and launching digital subscription products preferably for paid content

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media and investing.

  • Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Parsely and Google Analytics

  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research and leveraging that to inform product requirements.

  • Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps targeted at consumers.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.

  • Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.

  • Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
