Overview
Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking a motivated and dependable DOT Driver to support the Inventory Department. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in various weather conditions. While prior driving experience is preferred, it is not required-on-the-job training will be provided. The position involves local deliveries, inventory transport, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Shuttle inventory and products between the main warehouse and internal departments
• Deliver shipments locally within the Salt Lake area
• Perform manual loading and unloading of supplies using a dolly, pallet jack, or forklift
• Assist with preparing outgoing shipments and inspecting incoming deliveries for damages or defects
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of transported inventory
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols and DOT regulations
• Support warehouse operations as needed
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Possession of a valid DOT Medical Card or ability to pass a physical to obtain one
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics (preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
