Job description

Job Title: Senior .NET Solutions Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior .NET Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex information systems that drive our core business functions. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from translating high-level business requirements into technical specifications to coding, testing, and optimizing system performance.
This is a senior-level role for an engineer who is just as comfortable leading a project team as they are diving into the code to resolve a performance bottleneck. You will act as a technical mentor to junior team members, bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, and ensure our systems are built for scalability, reliability, and security. If you are a methodical coder who enjoys architectural design and system-wide optimization, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Development & System Design
• Solution Architecture: Formulate and define system scope through research and fact-finding. Devise and modify application systems to optimize requirements including capacity, response time, and scalability.
• Full-Lifecycle Coding: Design, code, test, debug, and document complex programs, subroutines, and scripts. Ensure all development follows modern best practices and enterprise standards.
• System Integrity: Respond to system failures and performance events. Implement robust measures to reduce downtime and proactively eliminate the recurrence of technical issues.
Leadership & Strategy
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical lead for small-to-medium project teams or manage specific phases of large-scale initiatives. Coordinate work assignments, verify results, and ensure project milestones are met on time.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical specifications. Conduct presentations for end-users to ensure they can maximize the utility of the systems you build.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to less-experienced analysts and developers. Help elevate the team's technical skill set across software languages, databases, and platform utilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of professional experience in systems analysis and .NET programming.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in .NET and SQL Server. Deep understanding of application development methodologies, terminology, and enterprise standards.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to interpret complex technical concepts and translate them into meaningful information for both technical team members and non-technical business partners.
Preferred Attributes
• Proven success leading medium-to-complex technology projects.
• A "consultant's mindset"-the ability to anticipate changing business needs and enhance system designs to meet those evolving requirements.
• Strong "analytical" DNA: A demonstrated record of devising data verification methods and standard system procedures to ensure high-quality, bug-free releases.
