Job description

Premier Door Solutions is seeking an Automatic Door Technician in San Antonio, TX. You will be working on commercial automatic doors and manual doors which include revolving, folding, sliding, and swinging doors, along with door hardware including door closers, panic exit devices, hinges, and locksets.
If you have experience installing or servicing automatic doors, door hardware, low voltage wiring, access control systems, glass/glazing, hollow metal doors, wood doors, storefront doors, or systems integration, please apply!

Job Responsibilities
  • Travel to customers location to troubleshoot/diagnose issues and provide service/repair
  • Project a customer focused image through competent service procedures, and professional communication
  • Install and/or service a wide range of automatic doors and door parts
  • Install and/or service a wide range of commercial doors and hardware
  • Maintain accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with products or services
  • Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, drills, and saws
  • AAADM certification (preferred)
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
  • Prior experience in similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
