Location: Zeeland, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience

Assembler – Windows & Doors

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality windows and doors. This position involves assembling components, installing hardware, operating basic hand and power tools, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

No previous window or door manufacturing experience is required for the right candidate. We provide hands-on training!

Responsibilities
  • Assemble windows, doors, frames, sashes, screens, and related components according to work instructions and production specifications.
  • Install glass, hardware, locks, hinges, handles, weather stripping, seals, and other components.
  • Use hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, pneumatic tools, saws, and fastening equipment.
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, assembly instructions, and work orders.
  • Measure and verify components using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • Apply sealants, adhesives, caulking, and weatherproofing materials as required.
  • Perform adjustments to ensure doors and windows open, close, lock, and seal properly.
  • Inspect completed products for proper fit, alignment, appearance, and overall quality.
  • Identify damaged or defective components and communicate issues to supervisors or quality personnel.
  • Safely handle glass, metal, vinyl, wood, and other window and door materials.
  • Package and prepare completed products for shipping or installation.
  • Maintain production counts and complete required paperwork.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, construction, or carpentry experience preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and reaching.
  • Ability to safely lift and move windows, doors, and related materials.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
