About the Role:
Builders Hardware of South Carolina is looking for a skilled Hardware Installation Tech to join their team in West Columbia, SC. This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of every project — bringing precision, craftsmanship, and reliability to every installation. Responsibilities:
  • Install commercial and residential door hardware including locks, hinges, closers, and exit devices
  • Read and interpret blueprints, door schedules, and hardware specifications
  • Perform on-site hardware installations at customer locations across the greater Columbia area
  • Inspect and test installed hardware to ensure proper function and code compliance
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing hardware systems as needed
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness and safety standards
Requirements:
