Job Description

Job Title: Oven Operator
Location: Houston, TX
Department: Bakery Production
Reports To: Production Leadership
Work Environment: Commercial bakery/food manufacturing environment
Hours: Shifts beginning at 4:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 1:00 PM. End times may vary based on business needs. Schedule is subject to change and may require weekend availability. **We are seeking team members who are openly available to work any day of the week, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays**

Position Summary

TDP Bakery is seeking dependable and motivated Oven Operators to join our Houston bakery team. This role supports daily bakery production by assisting with oven operations and helping ensure fresh, high-quality baked goods are produced safely and efficiently.

No experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidates who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily oven operations in a fast-paced bakery production environment
  • Follow food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices standards
  • Assist with preparing, baking, and handling bakery products as directed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work as part of a team to meet production goals and daily department needs
  • Follow instructions from production leadership and communicate any issues promptly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • No prior bakery experience required; training will be provided
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn required
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
  • Must have reliable transportation to work daily
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours
  • Ability to bend, grasp, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Must be able to provide slip-resistant shoes upon hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
