Employment Status: Full-time/Part-time, Hourly, Nonexempt
Pay Range: $ 18 per hour
Schedule: Overnight shifts, generally 11PM to 8AM, approximately 40 hours per week. Regular weekend and holiday availability is required.

For more than 50 years, The Donut Haus has served the community with quality products and friendly service. We are seeking a dependable Overnight Delivery Driver / Packing Lead who can maintain accuracy, safety, and organization in a fast-paced overnight operation.
Position Summary
The Overnight Delivery Driver / Packing Lead packs customer orders, coordinates overnight packing activities, loads company vehicles, and delivers products to customers. The position is responsible for maintaining order accuracy, food safety, vehicle safety, professional customer service, and timely completion of assigned routes.
This is an active, hourly, nonexempt position involving overnight work, driving, lifting, standing, packing, loading, and frequent movement throughout the shift.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Read, organize, and complete customer order sheets accurately.
  • Pack and label products according to customer orders and company procedures.
  • Verify order quantities and product quality before loading.
  • Organize and load delivery vehicles to support safe transportation and efficient unloading.
  • Safely operate company vehicles on assigned delivery routes.
  • Make deliveries professionally, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Drive during nighttime hours and in changing weather conditions, including rain and snow, when conditions permit safe operation.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Check fuel, lights, tires, and visible fluid levels and promptly report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or safety issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company delivery vehicles.
  • Coordinate packing assignments and provide work direction to overnight team members.
  • Prepare or adjust overnight packing schedules within approved staffing levels and manager direction.
  • Train and assist team members with packing, loading, food-safety, and delivery procedures.
  • Monitor packing materials and operating supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
  • Place approved supply orders in accordance with company purchasing procedures.
  • Follow company food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, allergen-control, packaging, storage, and transportation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing and loading area.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Document and promptly report customer concerns, delivery discrepancies, accidents, injuries, vehicle issues, product-quality concerns, and other operational problems.
  • Perform other related duties that are reasonably associated with the position.

Compensation and Benefits
