This role involves picking up sellable donations from residences and community locations, transporting goods between stores and the warehouse, and assisting with general warehouse labor. Key Responsibilities Safely pick up and deliver donations according to a set schedule Load and unload household items securely to prevent damage Plan efficient routes for multiple stops Maintain positive relationships with donors and store staff Perform general labor tasks at the warehouse Support inventory flow and remove non-sellable items Conduct routine maintenance on trucks and warehouse equipment Assist with minor mechanical issues when needed Qualifications Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License preferred DOT physical card and clean driving record required Ability to lift 75+ lbs and meet MIOSHA physical standards Familiarity with medium-duty truck operation and maintenance Ability to use GPS, complete reports, and operate handheld tech Strong customer service and communication skills Physical & Environmental Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, standing, walking, and driving Work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions May interact with emotionally distressed individuals Must have depth perception, peripheral, and close/distant vision Why Join VOAMI?
