Job description

CDL A Driver

Be a part of the world's #1 Pizza company and watch your career grow!

This position requires availability for all three route types: local same-day runs, team routes, and layover routes. Routes are assigned based on operational needs each week. The flexibility to work all three route types is what makes the $80,000–$90,000 first-year earning potential possible. If you are open to all three, we want to hear from you.

Pay Breakdown:

  • $33.50 - $36.00/ hour, based on number of years of verifiable driving experience
  • Sleeper Berth Pay (per hour): 50% of hourly rate
  • Call-in Pay (per occurrence) - $150 - $250
  • Bonus Opportunities:
    • Safety Bonus – $2,000 annually
    • Company Bonus – 2% of annualized hourly rate

Route Types:

  • Local Routes: Approximately 8–13 hours | Same Day Return
  • Team Routes: Approximately 19–23 hours |
  • Layover Routes: Approximately 30–33 hours | Longest Runs

Dispatch & Scheduling:

Dispatch window: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Schedules may include weekends based on route demand Routes are planned and communicated in advance — drivers are never guessing week to week

Coverage States:

Michigan | Ohio | Indiana | Pennsylvania | Upstate New York (Rochester area)

What You'll Do:

Safely operate company-owned Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes Deliver products to Domino's Pizza store locations across our coverage area. Unload product at each stop and retrieve empty trays and carts. Provide professional service to store teams at every delivery location. Shuttle trailers to and from partner locations and position at dock doors as needed. Follow all safety protocols and required PPE usage at all times

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes endorsement Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 6 months of verifiable CMV driving experience; 1 year strongly preferred
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate (must be maintained)
  • Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment background check
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to work around yeast and flour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving 48-foot trailers
  • Prior delivery service experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.], and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
