Job description

Summary
Develops divisionwide information, process, and system architectures encompassing operational, tactical, and strategic knowledge and its use.
Qualifications
Required
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree, in information technology or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in information systems development, two (2) years of which shall have been in information, process, and systems modeling.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices for information, process, and system modeling and integration.
  • Knowledge of alternative enterprises and systems.
  • Understanding of database and software modeling and implementation practices.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies for enterprise design and integration and system design and implementation practices.
  • Ability to perform technical and economic analyses.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense / Qlik Cloud), serving as a primary platform architect and lead developer for enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Qlik's associative engine, data modeling (star/snowflake), load scripting, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of data management and analytics architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, semantic layer design, governance, security (section access), and self-service discovery.

Major Duties/Essential Functions
  1. Performs technical and economic analyses of knowledge use and needs to determine where the enterprise should invest its resources to better leverage domains of knowledge.
  2. Develops strategies and plans for implementing domains of knowledge.
  3. Develops strategies for integrating operational, tactical, and strategic systems.
  4. Evaluates technologies that enable the design and implementation of the enterprise architecture.
  5. Performs technical project management for domain implementation.
  6. Leads analysis and design of tactical and strategic systems.
  7. Establishes standard practices for representing and developing information, process, and system models.
  8. Establishes standard practices for implementing and integrating operational, tactical, and strategic systems.
  9. Guides, and provides quality control over domain modeling and implementation activities.
  10. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
