FEDEX DELIVERY DRIVER
Hiring for 1 location:
Springfield FedEx Terminal - 2700 N Mulroy Rd, Strafford, MO 65757
  • Salary: $20-22/Hr PLUS stop bonuses. Pay is dependent on experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications - If you CAN NOT meet all the qualifications listed below, DO NOT APPLY:
  1. Experience in Commercial driving
  2. Physically active
  3. Driver's License (Required)
  4. 22 years of age or older (Required)
  5. No more than 2 traffic tickets in the last 2 years (Required)
  6. Be able to pass a DOT physical (Required)
  7. Pass a drug test prior to employment FedEx is under federal law. Marijuana card is not recognized.
  8. No misdemeanors of felony convictions within the last 15 years (Required)

This is a FULL-TIME opportunity based in Springfield/Strafford, exclusively for operating and delivering out of step vans. Experience driving larger delivery vehicles is recommended.
We provide your uniform's and all the training regarding driving the truck and the daily operations of being a delivery driver. This is a great place to work and a great place to experience the logistics of Package Delivery.

  2. Military Experience/Prior Service Candidates are ENCOURAGED to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely drive and operate company delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered.
  • Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
  • Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift packages up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Basic Requirements
  • Be able to pass a DOT Physical

  • Fast paced delivery position with package weights up to 150lb (Dolly provided but must be able to maneuver package onto dolly and deliver
  • Pick up and deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
  • Follow routes and time schedules
  • Load your truck in the morning inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Skills.
