Business Analyst

Location: City of NY /DOITT

Mandatory Skills/Experience: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. At least 8 years of experience and technical knowledge in: Data mapping, ETL integration, Netscout, Jasper reporting, Oracle Analytics, BMC Remedy ARS to monitor and manage different aspects of the IT infrastructure, Predictive analytics. This resource is required to architect and build out the analytics reporting and ITSM integration infrastructure to provide enhanced Netscout reporting within DoITT and its supported agencies. This includes providing recommendations and input for "Predictive Analytics". This implementation requires knowledge of Netscout, Remedy ITSM, Talon ETL, Jasper BI, and Oracle Analytics. Data model knowledge of ITIL disciplines supported by these applications is mandatory. Relationships between common data elements used by these applications are desirable but not mandatory. Additional tasks include identification of automatic data refreshes referencing data collected by Netscout products as well as installation and configuration of new gateways. Serve as an SME in networking and application performance, applications delivery, and utilizing complete Applications Performance Infrastructure platforms. Analyze and understand customers reporting requirements including assisting adoption solutions. Understand and define how data collected by selected products may be used to perform enhanced reporting and initial predictive analytics. Prepare extraction, transformation, and loading of data elements required for predictive analysis. Provide guidance on the use of WSDL's and Web Service where appropriate. Architect and design solutions defining trend analysis in network utilization for the DoITT environment. Translate organizational strategy into specific analytic work deliverables. Sets vision & direction for technical development initiatives; develops & leads resource planning for current and future requirements. Insures the quality and validity of analytic outputs.
