Do you have a passion for pups and a knack for creating a tail-wagging good time? Central Bark Rochester, MN is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Canine Care Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves dogs, enjoys staying active, and wants to be part of a team that values passion, compassion, respect, and integrity. Prior professional dog experience is not required — we will train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to providing safe, thoughtful care.
As a Canine Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping us provide a safe, enriching, and positive experience for the dogs in our care. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Supervising and engaging with dogs during playtime
- Monitoring dog behavior and identifying signs of stress, discomfort, or unsafe play
- Supporting enrichment activities and positive reinforcement-based care
- Feeding dogs and following individual care instructions
- Cleaning play areas, kennels, dishes, laundry, and facility spaces
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Providing exceptional care and attention to each dog
