Job description

We are seeking a dog bather to join our team! We are a large, fast paced dog and cat boarding/grooming facility north of Woodinville. We take pride in providing high quality personalized care for all animals at our facility.


  • Starting wage is $19-20 an hour

Responsibilities include:


  • Bathe, blow dry, clip/ grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, and express glands 
  • Assist others/ Ask others for assistance when needed
  • Ensure safety of the dogs at all times
  • Prepare dogs for the grooming table
  • Potty walking
  • Communicating with other staff members on the well being of the animals
  • Operate washer and dryer to clean towels, etc.
  • Enter in pricing and detailed instructions into our computer system “Atlantis”
  • Handle cash, check, and visa transactions
  • Properly maintain all bathing supplies
  • Answer phones and make appointments
  • Cleaning is essential: All hair must be swept off the floor in a timely manner. Bathing and drying rooms must be cleaned before going home. Bathing/Grooming area must be tidy (windows cleaned, floor mopped, computer station cleaned.)
  • Monitor guest’s health while bathing. Report any unusual concerns to a lead, or manager on duty.


Qualifications:


  • Able to complete baths in a timely manner
  • Prior experience as a bather is a must.
  • Passion to care for animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a caring manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Great communication
  • Bathing is a physically active job which requires you to be able to stand, walk, kneel, etc. all day and you must be able to regularly lift and move animals weighing up to 70 lbs.

  • Looking for a bather 4-5 days a week
