Do you love animals? Do you enjoy flexibility and working in the field? This might be the perfect job for you!


I’m looking for a dependable, caring, and professional pet sitter to join The Pawsophist. Services include dog walks, drop-in visits, and in-home overnight pet sitting. If you’re able to board pets in your own home, this is an additional service we can offer clients.


About The Pawsophist

The Pawsophist is a locally owned pet care business dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable and personalized care for pets throughout Montreal.


Responsibilities

  • Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes
  • Visit cats and other small pets in clients’ homes
  • Feed pets and refresh their water
  • Administer medications (if required)
  • Clean litter boxes and pick up waste
  • Provide companionship and enrichment
  • Carefully follow each client’s care instructions and pet’s routine
  • Send detailed photo and text updates after each visit
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with clients
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and respectful presence in clients’ homes
  • Arrive on time and maintain a high level of reliability


Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Genuine love for animals
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Access to reliable transportation (a car is not required!)


Assets

  • Pet First Aid certification
  • Previous experience in pet sitting, animal care, veterinary medicine, or a related field


Schedule

  • Flexible
  • Weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday availability is an asset
