Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job description:

Big Dog Ranch Rescue is seeking dedicated and compassionate K-9 Care Specialists to join our team! Located in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, we are a unique and mission-driven dog rescue facility committed to providing exceptional care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

If you have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine love for animals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Previous experience in pet care or kennel management is a plus — but we are willing to train the right candidate!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect dog rooms and kennels
  • Feed and provide water according to established schedules
  • Administer medications as directed by veterinarians and veterinary technicians
  • Walk, exercise, and socialize dogs
  • Assist with bathing and grooming as needed
  • Follow all operational policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Fill in during emergencies when needed
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

· Ability to move around the ranch for extended periods

· Lift and move up to 50 lbs

· Bend, stoop, reach, and perform cleaning duties in kennels and bunk rooms
