Job description

We are seeking someone to help run our back playrooms and middle section of our facility who loves dogs, is hard working, and is willing to put their best foot forward as the face our clients see as they come in with their dogs. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and help other staff members in a team based job is most important.

This job involves: cleaning cottages and playrooms (wiping down walls and scrubbing floors), laundry, dishes, organizing medium sized groups of dogs, handling difficult dogs, assisting with clients at the front door, walking dogs outside to the yard and back when owners pick up, following the timeline of the shift and making sure that we are not falling behind as a team on what needs to get done, and helping throughout the facility wherever help may be needed.

We are looking to add a member to our team before spring break takes way! We would love to meet you and see what you can add to our growing team of small dog loving employees!!

Requirements:

-Able to walk strong willed dogs to and from our yard/playgroups

-Lift up to 50 pounds

-Ability to be standing and walking for the entire 5+ hour shift

-Able to bend and squat easily

-Ability to learn our clients dogs names and compatibilities in playgroup

-Daily cleaning of cottages and playrooms

-Ability to keep up on dishes and laundry

-Positive attitude above all else

-Willingness to learn our software (PawPartner) efficiently

-Answer phone calls and speak kindly to our clients

-Work weekends and holidays

Our Shift Schedule:

AM shifts: 6:30am (7am Saturday and Sundays) - 12pm

PM shifts: 1pm - 7pm

Night Check- once a week, 9pm-10pm (or 10:30pm)

Payment:

Starting pay is $15/hour during training

Once you are fully trained and able to be self sufficient, pay increases to $18+/hour

Part Time Position - approximately 20 to 30 hours/week
