Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers and hospital staff. Our pharmacy team is rapidly growing and so are our Specialty Clinic services. This position will be focused in the Infectious Disease/HIV Clinic and our ideal candidate would be someone that is highly motivated to ensure optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes with medication management planning and education for our patients and families. We want pharmacists with a strong passion to care for diverse and complex patients in collaboration with providers, nurses, clinical technicians, pharmacy students and residents.

*** Schedule is Monday through Friday ***

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy

  • Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacist experience in a health-system or successful completion of a PGY1 residency is required

  • Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas

  • Texas pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment

  • CPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only
