The Communications and Spectrum Dominance sector in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for a Pricing Lead to join our team. ย Our Pricing Leads play a key role in keeping our departments and proposals compliant and on track. All departments utilize our Proposal Pricing and Estimating System to keep all projects and proposals moving in the same direction with accurate and complete information for our customers. We are seeking a proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with key functional stakeholders including Program Management and Engineering. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking and the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision. Successful candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for financial metrics within their proposals, providing management with an early warning of potential estimating system compliance issues, identifying risks and offering solutions.
  • Assist contracts and program management in the development of proposal cash flows, and ROS Analysis.
  • Educate and lead proposal analysts, and proposal teams through the proposal process.
  • Help develop briefings of for Executive Gate 3 Proposal Reviews.
  • Educate PMO and bidders with internal processes and procedures on proposal pricing.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to pricing professionals.
  • Communicates within and outside the organization to explain and influence changes to practices and processes.
  • Provides suggestions and implementation of new process improvement initiatives Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Mentoring of Jr. analysts on how to perform extensive investigations and understands root cause of problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior program finance experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • A broad experience and understanding with business financial management techniques including government and commercial contracts, earned value analysis, cost analysis, financial planning, cash flow, progress payments and billing milestones.
  • Experience with ProPricer Advanced experience with Excel and other MS OFFICE tools Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in an inclusive environment.
  • Experience with creating financial forecasts.
  • DoD contractor experience preferred.
