As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and use technology to document security-related activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns. * Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: * An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Alarm panel experience is preferred. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
