A tech services company is looking to boost its staff with the addition of a new OpenText Documentum Developer located in Reston, VA, or Plano, TX. In this role, the OpenText Documentum Developer will be responsible for focusing on enterprise content management systems.


About the Opportunity:



  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: Standard business

  • Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)

  • Location: Reston, VA, or Plano, TX.


Responsibilities:



  • Troubleshooting AWS deployments

  • Reviewing configurations & security policies and analyzing logs

  • Applying Agile Methodology

  • Implementing Agile Scrum practices like sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

  • Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams

  • Managing time, tasks, and priorities independently

  • Performing other duties, as needed


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience with Java and Python

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficient in Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases

  • Solid understanding of Design Patterns and Software Architecture

  • Familiarity with Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Deployment Processes, Vulnerability Management, and System Monitoring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to effectively manage time and multitask


Desired Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of Documentum Application experience

  • Master's Degree in a related field

  • AWS certification

  • Experience with Platform upgrades and migrations

  • Experience with API Development using Spring Framework

  • Prior experience in AWS services like EC2, ECS, RDS, and Lambda
