This is a high-impact, highly visible role that blends hands-on technical consulting and support for pre-sales activities.
You will work closely with our project management team and direct both internal and contract technical staff on the delivery of complex ECM solutions. During quieter periods, you may also support our European teams on international engagements.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the technical lead on client projects, owning the end-to-end delivery of OpenText / Documentum solutions from design through implementation.
  • Actively contribute to pre-sales activities - engaging clients, understanding their needs, and shaping winning proposals and solution designs.
  • Define and produce high-level and low-level technical designs that meet the highest standards of quality and scalability.
  • Translate functional requirements into clear technical analyses and architectures.
  • Lead and mentor internal and contract technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.

Requirements
  • Deep OpenText / Documentum Expertise:

    • Proficiency in D2 configuration and customization
    • Knowledge of D2/Smart View is a strong asset
    • Solid knowledge of OpenText Documentum platform integrations
    • Familiarity with OpenText xECM platform and integrations is a plus

  • Technical Excellence:
    • Proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET for custom development
    • Experience with SQL and database management (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres)
    • Familiarity with cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for ECM workloads
    • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
    • Broader knowledge of the OpenText Documentum product suite and additional OpenText tools is a plus - the more you know, the more impact you'll have
    • Architecture mindset: A sharp eye for system integration, with the ability to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and aligned to client needs.

    • Client-facing confidence: Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proactive problem-solver: You think in solutions, not just problems, able to anticipate challenges and address them before they escalate.

Benefits
  • Fully remote - Work from anywhere, on your terms
  • Competitive rates - We recognize expertise and compensate accordingly
  • Collaborative environment - Work alongside a smart, creative team of professionals who genuinely value your expertise
