About the Group:
  • A large, multi-specialty medical group serving southeastern New England
  • The staff of over 80 professionals provides primary care, specialty care, and full diagnostic services (MRI, CT scans, nuclear cardiac testing, vascular testing, ultrasound, x-rays, etc.)
  • With facilities in Fall River, Somerset, Tiverton, and Dartmouth, this group has been committed since 1991 to the doctor/patient relationship through humanism, communication, empathy, compassion, and mutual respect, all joined together by trust
  • 120-physician multispecialty group with 160 providers who see patients in Fall River, Somerset, Tiverton, and Westport

Benefits and Features:
  • 250K-310k base guaranteed for 3 years. 
  • Partnership with $1500 buy-in after 3 years with productivity salary from that point onward. 
  • Eligible for corporate bonuses during the first 3 years if breaking even (collections minus salary & expenses).

Description:
  • 3 Person team (Currently 1 doctor and 1 NP, the candidate will be doctor #2.)
  • Out-patient, full-time, with some flexibility in hours and practice details.
  • Exposure to the usual spectrum of rheumatologic conditions and in-office procedures.
  • Proficiency with musculoskeletal ultrasound preferred.
  • In-house lab and imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound, DEXA). Specialty colleagues are easily-accessible: Orthopedics, ID, Cardiology Pulmonary, Allergy/Immunology, Physical Therapy, next-door Infusion Center.
  • No in-patient consults or rounds.
  •  4 or 5 days a week, usual office hours. 
  • Share call with the other rheumatologist, but no one ever calls.
  • 16-20 patients seen per day
  • Access to in-house clinical research team if interested in Pharma studies.
  • Infusion Center next door has anything they would require. 
  • Pulmonary colleagues for those patients with diseases common to both specialties. 
  • Fed by 40 PCPs and the community.
  • Tertiary care for very complex cases can be provided in Boston or Providence (Brown).

Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
  • Great at relationship building, both with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to hold and maintain Maryland State License
  • Candidates completing their Rheumatology training are welcome to apply
