Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging the latest advancements in rheumatology.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities.
  • Support a satisfactory process for supervision and training of fellows, residents and medical students from University of Arizona College of Medicine rotating through the Rheumatology division
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of rheumatology.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in all the US States
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are board certified or recently board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • US Citizenship
