Job description

A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking a Pharmacist for position at the VA Outpatient Clinc in Seattle, WA. Pharmacist can expect to work in the outpatient pharmacy rotating shifts. Coverage will start upon credentialing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The contract pharmacists provide delivery of pharmaceutical care for patients seen in VA medical center clinics, on inpatient wards, and central inpatient pharmacies. Pharmacists provide dispensing, prescription verification, checking, unit dose drug distribution, controlled substance and high-cost drug accountability, drug information, formulary management, consulting, and antimicrobial consulting.

Requirements:

  • License: Pharmacists must be licensed in at least one State. The pharmacist must have and maintain an active, unrestricted license.
  • Board Certification /Eligibility: Pharmacist must have a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
  • Credentialing and Privileging: Must be able to meet requirements of the Credentialing and Privileging process
  • Technical Proficiency: VA will need a copy of the pharmacistโ€™s competency assessment completed by the contractor.
  • American College of Pharmacy Education (ACPE): Pharmacist must be current on his/her Continuing Education requirements.
  • Pharmacist should have inpatient experience.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
