Job description

American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers based in Jackson, MS. This position is open to drivers who are new to the industry and looking for a structured start — paid training is included and there are no upfront costs.

After training, drivers run consistent OTR miles and earn between $1,200 and $1,500 weekly.

How Training Works:

  • 4–6 weeks fully paid alongside a dedicated mentor
  • Covers real freight, real routes, ELD, HOS, inspections, and daily operations
  • Weekly pay throughout training
  • Solo transition at $0.56 CPM after completion

What the Job Looks Like:

  • Dry van, no-touch freight
  • Approximately 60% drop and hook
  • Average 2,200–2,500 miles per week
  • Consistent dispatch, minimal downtime
  • Day and night runs

Pay After Training:

  • $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
  • Weekly earnings typically $1,200–$1,500
  • Stop, layover, and breakdown pay included
