About the Role

The Grounds Support Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily appearance, cleanliness, and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas across New Freedom facilities. This role helps ensure facility grounds, entrances, parking lots, courtyards, common areas, and support spaces remain safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting housekeeping and facilities operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of facility grounds, entrances, parking lots, courtyards, and outdoor spaces
  • Performing outdoor cleaning activities including trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and grounds maintenance
  • Supporting housekeeping operations within common areas, hallways, stairwells, and shared spaces
  • Assisting with carpet care, supply stocking, and housekeeping support activities
  • Maintaining cleanliness of loading docks, storage spaces, and designated facility areas
  • Operating landscaping and groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively
  • Supporting facility presentation and operational readiness across multiple locations

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment
  • Ability to routinely lift and carry 30–50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Valid Arizona driver's license required
  • Groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or facilities support experience preferred
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, or similar machinery preferred
  • Experience working in environments with safety, PPE, and compliance requirements preferred
