Job description

Description Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is seeking a Software License Management Analyst to support the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This role is responsible for the custody, inventory, tracking, and compliance of software licensing assets across unclassified, classified, and isolated laboratory environments. * Maintain the centralized software licensing and inventory database.
* Track and record software seat allocations, licenses, product keys, and active version baselines.
* Serve as the primary custodian of record for End-User License Agreements (EULAs), proofs of purchase, digital certificates, and maintenance agreements.
* Conduct software license audits across enterprise networks, standalone systems, and isolated laboratory environments.
* Monitor software license consumption rates to prevent compliance overages or unauthorized installations.
* Track vendor software lifecycles, including End-of-Life (EOL), End-of-Support (EOS), and renewal schedules.
* Generate requirement forecasts and consolidated bulk licensing recommendations to support procurement planning.
* Maintain accurate configuration management baselines for all software inventories.
* Maintain accessible documentation of the authorized software catalog for Directorate personnel.
* Communicate licensing compliance risks and inventory discrepancies to Government and contractor teams. Requirements * Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT Software Asset Management (SAM), software licensing administration, or technical inventory control.
* Technical Proficiency: Experience tracking software licenses, vendor entitlements, and diverse license models (perpetual, subscription, node-locked, concurrent/floating).
* Systems: Proficiency with asset tracking databases, inventory tools, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.
* Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance.
* Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
* Preferred: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent IT Asset Management (ITAM) credential.
