Position Overview:
DNC Hydraulics is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to support daily transportation and delivery operations.  This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials and equipment while maintaining a high level of customer service.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to representing DNC Hydraulics professionally on the road and at customer locations.


Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver materials to customer locations in a timely manner 

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance 

Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers as needed 

Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and dispatch instructions 

Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and DOT regulations 

Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and required reports 

Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers 

Ensure proper handling and securement of all loads to prevent damage 

Represent DNC Hydraulics with professionalism and a customer-first mindset

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) 

Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices 

Must meet all DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, including medical certification 

Must successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT regulations 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

Prior CDL driving experience required 

Ability to operate trucks and trailers safely under varying conditions 

Strong time management and organizational skills 

Dependable attendance and punctuality 

Ability to lift, load, and unload materials as needed 

Primarily local routes with occasional overnight travel as needed


Work Environment, Schedule & Expectations:

  • Primarily first-shift, Monday through Friday 
  • Daily local routes with occasional overnight travel as needed 
  • Minimum expectation of 40 hours per week 
  • Flexibility required to work approximately 45-55 hours during peak or busy periods 
  • Overtime is workload-driven and not guaranteed as a permanent schedule 
  • Schedule may vary based on business demands and delivery needs 
  • Team members are expected to support one another to meet customer commitments during high-demand periods
