  • This opportunity is:

    Location: Aiea, HI
    Status: Full-time (Evening Shift)
    Days/Hours: TBD
    Base hourly pay rate: $19.74 to $21.71

    In this role, you will:

    • Provide immediate responses to client and customer questions
    • Perform laboratory assistant duties including specimen processing, add-ons, and send-outs
    • Investigate and resolve client issues, discrepancies, and report concerns
    • Notify clients of STATs and critical values in accordance with guidelines
    • Track and monitor send-out tests, escalating issues when necessary
    • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely service and accurate results
    • Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and professional communication at all times

    All you need is:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

    Bonus points if you've got:

    • Laboratory Assistant (LAS or LA) experience
    • Previous customer service experience
    • 1-2 years working in a clinical laboratory environment
