Responsibilities:

1. Promote the mission, philosophy, instructional goals and objectives of New Beginning CNA

2. Works closely with the Nursing Assistant Instructor to prepare a clinical experience for students

3. Develops and maintains an environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of resources provided at the clinical setting

4. Prepares for clinical instruction at sites assigned

5. Encourages students to meet acceptable performance standards in the clinical setting as defined in course syllabi and by state guidelines

6. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, patients, equipment, materials, and facilities

7. Evaluates student progress on a continuing basis, reporting in writing at designated times

8. Works to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students concerning their progress

9. Maintains accurate and auditable records of student attendance and performance as required by law and school policy

10. Assist in upholding New Beginning CNA policies and procedures

11. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with college staff and clinical site staff

12. Performs other tasks assigned by the program coordinator.
