We're looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting our sales team, coordinating customer orders, and collaborating with departments across the organization to ensure seamless service.
About the Role
The Sales Support Specialist serves as a critical link between customers, the sales team, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role combines customer service, order management, and administrative support, helping the sales team focus on driving business growth. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers and colleagues.
What You'll Do
  • Provide day-to-day support to Sales Representatives to ensure efficient sales operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Respond to customer and sales representative inquiries or direct them appropriately based on the nature of the request or issue.
  • Assist with processing customer orders, returns, credits, and invoicing while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism; work to de-escalate situations and achieve timely resolution.
  • Support pricing inquiries and provide product information, marketing materials, and related sales tools to customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidential records within company system with a high level of discretion and integrity.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the overall customer and sales support experience.
  • Perform general administrative and office support tasks as needed.

What You Bring
  • Excellent interactive verbal, written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 2+ years of similar customer service experience in increasingly responsible roles.
  • Comfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Excel.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
