We are seeking a Partner with extensive knowledge of matrimonial litigation support services across a broad range of industries and experience working with law firms, corporations, and government agencies. This individual will lead the delivery of high-quality forensic and financial analyses, expert witness testimony, and consulting services to clients involved in complex litigation cases.
At DLA, LLC, our Forensics, Valuation & Litigation Support (FVLS) practice produces results that go beyond what our clients require by adopting best practices for engagements that combine financial, accounting, advisory, investigative, and valuation services across a wide range of industries, working with both large and small firms.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Help lead the growth of the FVLS practice by developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans in accordance with DLA's mission and vision and the commitment to always act as a trusted partner to our clients
  • Elevate the DLA brand by demonstrating thought leadership and embracing our marketing and sales programs
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of expanding the DLA brand in acquiring new clients, engagements, and revenue for the Firm
  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent engagements within the FVLS practice involving matrimonial litigation support services, including forensic accounting, financial analysis, expert testimony, and other related services
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide expert advice and insights on complex financial issues and disputes
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on financial and accounting matters in litigation and disputes
  • Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex matrimonial litigation concepts to support Firm initiatives and development opportunities with internal knowledge sharing and panel discussions
  • Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverables
  • Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex matrimonial litigation support matters
  • Responsible for ensuring the engagement team has an in-depth understanding of the client's business
  • Support the growth and development of team members, helping these individuals meet their professional goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and ensure that the FVLS group remains at the forefront of the industry

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • CPA, CVA, ABV, ASA, CFA, CFE or CFF certification preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in matrimonial litigation support services, including forensic accounting, financial analysis, expert testimony, and consulting services
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of consultants and analysts
  • Strong business development skills, including a track record of developing and maintaining relationship with clients and generating new business opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to contribute to the growth and development of the FVLS practice and the firm as a whole
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our team of experts and build lasting relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with Quicken and QuickBooks is a plus
