Job description

Description
Looking for Your Next Opportunity in Family Law, Divorce Advisory, or Forensic Litigation Consulting?
At DLA, our FVLS team supports clients in high-stakes situations, providing forensic accounting, fraud investigations, business valuations, damages calculations, and litigation support services. You'll have the opportunity to deliver insights that shape outcomes while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. If you're passionate about forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation support, you'll find meaningful work here with a team that values People First, is Driven to Deliver, Evolves with Purpose, and is Stronger Together.
We're currently looking for a Matrimonial / Family Law Partner to join our Forensic, Valuation & Litigation Support Services team. If you're ready to support clients with forensic investigations, business valuations, and complex litigation matters while making a real impact in high-stakes situations, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
As Partner, you will expand DLA's capabilities through hands-on practice building. Your day-to-day may include:
  • Leading engagements in divorce financial consulting, forensic accounting for family law, and business valuation for high-net-worth marital disputes
  • Providing expert witness testimony in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Advising attorneys and clients on equitable distribution, spousal support, child support, and lifestyle analysis
  • Developing and executing strategic growth plans for our Family Law & Divorce Litigation Support practice
  • Building client relationships and visibility through networking, thought leadership, and professional associations
  • Managing and mentoring teams of consultants and analysts

What You'll Bring
We know great team members come from many paths. Typically, we look for:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in matrimonial litigation support, family law consulting, or financial advisory for high-net-worth divorce
  • Proven success as a financial expert witness in complex disputes
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Professional designations such as CPA, CVA, ABV, ASA, CFA, CFE, or CFF
  • Membership in organizations like AAML, NACVA, or ASA a plus

Why Join DLA?
We're not your typical firm. DLA combines the expertise of a national advisory practice with the flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup. You'll work with leaders who value your voice, invest in your growth, and support your career journey. Here's what sets us apart:
  • Emphasis on work-life balance compared to traditional audit firms
  • Flexible PTO (plus your birthday as a holiday)
  • Direct client exposure from day one
  • Career path to leadership & Partner
  • Hybrid work model with flexibility built in
  • 401(k) match, referral programs, and comprehensive benefits

Come Be a Part of Our Success Story
At DLA, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. We hire great people from all backgrounds-because it makes our company stronger. If you share our values and our enthusiasm for consulting, you'll find a home here.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application process.
