We are looking to hire a talented Distribution Associate based in Denton, Texas.
Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Distribution Associate is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors to keep our operations running smoothly. Primary Duties
  • Load LTL trucks
  • Processing of documents and ship confirmations (i.e.: packing slips)
  • Move materials with multiple forklifts (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack, dock stocker)
  • Pulling and packing of customer orders
  • Banding pallets
  • Processing bill of lading
  • Consolidation of PID's
  • Picking and shipping HAZMAT
  • Troubleshoot HAZMAT issues
  • Utilizing product knowledge to correctly fulfill orders, escalating issues as needed
  • Work efficiently to attain goals
  • Follow regulatory agency (FDA, UL or ISO) standards or policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing)
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with RF guns preferred
  • Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred

Working Conditions
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Personal computer skills - SAP, Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to operate forklift equipment, working at heights of 30 feet
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership capability
  • Capable of working required overtime
  • Ability to apply and use required forces (i.e.: 50 lbs. of material lifting) repetitively
  • Excellent work record (i.e.: Attendance, Attitude and Productivity)
