Job description

As a Senior Product Developer at Epicor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers. You will help deliver secure, high-performing solutions that scale for enterprise workloads while partnering closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, UX, and cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence through design reviews, code quality improvements, mentoring, and continuous innovation. We are seeking applicants with strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems with modern technologies and AI-enabled tools.

What you will be doing:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain new and existing application features across the software development lifecycle.
  • Build responsive user experiences using React, Angular, or similar modern web frameworks.
  • Develop backend services, business logic, APIs, and integrations using Python, Django, or comparable technologies.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, database models, and data processes to support scalable enterprise applications.
  • Lead technical design discussions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural and solution planning decisions.
  • Investigate software defects, identify root causes, and implement sustainable, long-term solutions that improve product quality and performance.
  • Mentor developers, promote development best practices, and leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance product capabilities and team productivity.
What you will likely bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in software development, with demonstrated success delivering modern web applications and enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Strong experience with React (or a similar modern UI framework), Python, Django or comparable frameworks/ORMs, SQL, APIs, and full-stack web development.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, application security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting integrations, RESTful APIs, and data-driven applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
