Job description

What is the Opportunity?

FilterBoxx is looking for a Service Technician with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, apply existing skills, learn new skills, and be part of a long-standing team with strong values and room for advancement.

FilterBoxx provides installation and servicing of rental equipment including power generation and wastewater treatment systems on oilfield and industrial worksites.

This role will set-up and maintenance equipment at customer locations in addition preparing equipment in the yard for upcoming projects.  You will be working mainly in the field at customer locations with some yard & shop when required maintaining equipment.

This role is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada and will require travel/field work to various sites.

What is the role?

  • General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Notifying Supervisor of any equipment defects promptly
  • Preparing support equipment for upcoming projects
  • Installation and set-ups or rig ups and location moves
  • Actively participating in the company safety program and routinely complete all required safety paperwork
  • Actively displaying company values

Does this sound like you?

  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and provide an acceptable driver's abstract
  • Experience in operating a skid steer considered an asset
  • Mechanical & plumbing knowledge considered an asset
  • Team Player with strong communication skills both verbal and written, and ability to follow direction from management and supervisors.
  • Good attitude, prompt, and fit for duty
  • Ability to climb on or around equipment, bend, reach, and lift (up to 50 lbs) at times
