Job Overview:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, staffing, and safety compliance. This position plays a key leadership role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring accuracy and quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on leader with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
What You'll Do:
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracy.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure all materials, products, and inventory are handled and stored properly to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels; coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational metrics such as accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Schedule and manage staffing levels to meet fluctuating workload demands.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast operational needs and develop process improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams of 10+ in a production, warehouse, or distribution setting.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and performance metrics (Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus).

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or working on warehouse floor.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • May require occasional travel between facilities or to vendor locations.
