  • Diversity that fuels innovation:ย Our team brings together a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. That diversityย isnโ€™tย just something we talk about;ย itโ€™sย what drives our creativity and helps us find better ways to solve problems.ย ย

  • Growth that feels personal:ย Whetherย youโ€™reย continuing your education, earning new certifications, or stepping into new challenges,ย weโ€™reย here to help you grow in the directionย thatโ€™sย right for you.ย Youโ€™llย collaborate with experienced mentors and leaders who want to see you succeed.

  • A culture that gives back:ย Weโ€™reย passionate about our communities. Every year, we dedicate paid time off for volunteering and encourage our team to use their talents to make a difference whetherย thatโ€™sย mentoring students, serving local nonprofits, or getting hands-on in community projects.ย

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple moving pieces. This position works closely with engineering teams, contractors, clients, schedulers, and field personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This role is approximately 80% office-based and 20% field-based, with regular travel to project sites within a 1โ€“3 hour radius of the reporting location.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Manage 10โ€“20 active projects from inception through completion
  • Review project scopes and develop project work plans with engineering teams and client stakeholders
  • Coordinate outage requests and sequencing plans with SMEs and contractor partners
  • Facilitate procurement coordination for project materials and equipment
  • Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting reviews and submittals
  • Develop RFP packages including scopes of work, schedules, and permitting documentation
  • Evaluate contractor bids and provide award recommendations to clients
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings and ongoing project progress meetings
  • Drive project schedules and construction progress, including regular on-site involvement

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with schedulers to maintain and update detailed P6 project schedules
  • Manage project budgets, accruals, and financial forecast updates
  • Navigate client systems for project documentation, contract management, and financial tracking
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients regarding cost, schedule, procurement, safety, environmental concerns, and project risks
  • Maintain clear communication between project sites, offices, clients, and internal teams

What You'll Bring to the Familia:
Essentials to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of distribution line, transmission line, or substation construction project management experience
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and construction execution
  • Strong knowledge of substations, transmission lines, networks, or telecommunications infrastructure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively work with clients, contractors, public agencies, and cross-functional teams
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with P6 scheduling software
  • Experience managing utility or infrastructure construction projects in consulting environments
  • Familiarity with permitting coordination and contractor bid management
  • Experience working directly with utility clients and field construction teams

Ready to make an impact?ย
