Distribution Order Selectors are warehouse workers responsible for accurately selecting and gathering products from storage areas to fulfill customer orders. They use pick lists or handheld scanners to locate items, ensure the correct quantity and quality, and prepare them for shipping or delivery. This role is essential in distribution centers, as it helps maintain efficient supply chains and timely fulfillment of orders. Distribution Order Selectors often operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts and must follow safety procedures while working quickly and accurately.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a distribution order selector, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Distribution Order Selector, you need strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and physical stamina, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Distribution Order Selectors often work in fast-paced warehouse environments where accuracy and speed are crucial.
