A day in the life...
As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide full spectrum human resources support to our Abilene, KS Manufacturing Facility. In this role, you will ensure operations and deliverables meet or exceed plant objectives and follow Organizational and operational strategies.
What you will be doing...
  • Fostering a results-oriented, positive, and inclusive culture through effective coaching and implementation of processes and tools.
  • Developing programs focused on employee engagement and positions the company as an employer of choice in the community.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Leading facility staffing, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives to strengthen retention and internal growth.
  • Leading and developing an impactful Human Resources team, to provide support across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyzing data to identify root causes, provide insights to leadership, and implement programs or action plans to address root causes.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
  • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives.
  • Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

(Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field - or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Previous work experience managing people and/or leading teams.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
  • Ability to be on-site 5 days a week, Monday - Friday. Weekends and evenings as needed.
