About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Distillation Technician to join our Cannabis Lab to produce quality cannabis extracts. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining distillation equipment to separate and purify substances through distillation under reduced pressure. Your duties will include setting up and monitoring distillation processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining detailed records of operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, experience with vacuum distillation techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain distillation equipment to separate and purify cannabis extracts under reduced pressure.
  • Set up and execute distillation processes in accordance with established SOPs and production specifications.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, flag malfunctions for maintenance, and ensure all safety protocols are consistently followed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of distillation processes, results, and operational data.
  • Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Strong foundation in chemistry principles and laboratory procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with vacuum distillation techniques and reduced-pressure systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Requirements:
