Job description

Position Summary
The Design Center Coordinator (Part-time) supports the day-to-day client experience in the showroom, with a primary focus on Saturdays and other high traffic periods. This plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and helpful environment.
The Design Center Assistant will provide support to the receptionist, Design Center Coordinators, inventory and organize display and client samples, restock client refreshments, assist with setting up for special events and tours, other general assistance. Ability to lift 30 lbs. is required.
Design Center Coordinators (Part-time) will focus on one of two areas; product or hospitality. The product focus will concentrate in product organization, sample order and restocking, partnering with category specialists to ensure all products/vignettes are up to date and documented properly amongst other responsibilities. The hospitality concentration will include supporting the client experience and working alongside the marketing and events teams. All DCCs (Part-time) will be expected to crossover and provide assistance in all aspects of the showroom.
Design Center Coordinators (Part-time) will have the option to attend events, product knowledge sessions and trainings (on and off site).
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Support
  • Reception
  • Restocking and managing refreshments
  • Sample organization and inventory
  • Help keep the showroom organized, clean, and client ready
  • Assistance with special events, lunches and tours
  • General assistance to Design Center team

General Assistance
  • Provide light administrative or operational support as needed
  • Assist the team with simple tasks during peak traffic
  • Communicate recurring client questions or issues to leadership

Information & Follow-up Support
  • Collect basic client contact information and visit notes
  • Share information with the team to ensure proper follow-up
  • Flag questions or concerns to the Manager or Experience Manager as needed

Schedule: Parttime (15-28 hours per week); Every other Saturday is required, Every Saturday is preferred.

Qualifications
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable engaging with clients
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and available to work Saturdays (required)
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or other client facing roles is a plus, but not required
